How does a nuclear bomb explode?

Answer:
A nuclear bomb explodes when the fissile subcritical mass inside the bomb has its state changed either by changing the shape or mass with the same fissile material, causing the fissile material to go into a super critical mass. This builds up energy which then collapses(implodes) on itself and then explodes, producing a mushroom cloud with a fireball that is as hot as the sun and produces a shockwave. An after effect of a nuclear explosion is the release of EMP(Electro-Magnetic-Pulse).
