Before I begin let me clear up something, being shy is not a disadvantage to getting a girlfriend at all. In fact it will make you seem more sensitive and girls like that. The only hard part about that is getting to know her, you just have to find good times to talk to her. I know it may be hard to talk to her while she is with her friends, but you will have to get over that and getting over that will be good for you. Talk to her and let her know you like her, she will like the attention and hopefully go out with you.
