This is quite simple. Firstly to calculate the comission due to him on the value of stock traded. The stock broker also needs maths to make particular calculations. for example formulae such as dividend yield, price earning ratio, ect. some stock broker uses these formulae to give advices to their customers. (But not all stockbrokers gives advice.)
