How does a thirteen year old girl tell a thirteen year old boy she likes him?

OR she should do it over the phone. I am having the same problem with one of my guy friends. Coming from a guys point of view he says that its "gay" to do it in person. Call him and ask if he likes you. If he doesn't like you then remember that you will always have friends and that there are many more guys out there.

I'm a guy. It is NOT gay to say in person. He must be gay if he thinks that. Also the correct answer is...

Just talk to him. you're 13, not some giggly 16 year old who has trouble communicating what she feels. Guys can't express what they feel easily.

If you want him to talk to you about emotions...

1. Wear beautiful outfits. try to look at beautiful outfits on the internet, for examples.
2. Be exotic. Learn some French, Spanish, Greek, or Latin. He will likely try to learn what you are saying. Now if he does so, it may be for educational purposes. Don't suppose he is trying to flirtwith someone. If he knows a foreign language that few in your class know, learn it.
3. Ask HIM to go to a date. This is a way for him to say something like "I always wanted to ask you." You want be talking about emotions,but if he is way more than willing to go, you know as well as if he said "YES!YES!YES! I AM GOING ON A DATE WITH ____________! YES!YES!YES!" Places to go that you don't need to say date if you don't want to for are dances, movies, spot with you at lunch....
4. If you don't want to tell him yourself, just walk up to him while he's standing and surprise him by kissing him on the lips. If it lasts for about a count of 6, you KNOW that he enjoyed it and he is more than likely to tell you how he felt when you kissed him. He will also ask you out more than likely. Also, you might want to try to make it last longer. If after the 6 he pushes you away, he enjoyed it. If he pushes you away instantly, he doesn't like you like that. Don't worry though. You will find the right guy
5. Guys love challenges, but if something is impossible they WILL NOT attempt getting the "prize". I'm just using terminology. Girls are not material possecions to be earned/bought/won but rather to be gained as friends. This step isn't much, if he is willing to talk to you about even useless information or compare families like "if you think your brother/sister/cousin is a pain, you should see my brother/sister/cousin. He/she did this..." Be moderately flirty with another class mate. If he has a rival or even an enemy, use him. Don't go out with him or use him, but rather talk to him. When your talking, flip your hair... in the FLIRTY way after he looks at you. Look at him, smile, flip your hair. Simple. Tell the rival "Talk to you later." Talk occasionally to him but slowly transition to the guy you're flirting with, One day (3rd or 4th) don't talk but kiss him. Walk away. The next day, ask him what he thought about the kiss.
6. He should even be willing to help you. Drop your books while you are both in the hall. He should be quite able to be polite and help you. look into his eyes and ask him to tell you exactly why HE helped YOU when it was NOT his fault. He should say something like "we're friends." "I really like you" "cause I think you're an awesome girl/person/chic/friend/babe..." "I think you're awesome" and/or other similar sayings. If you don't get complimented but rather insulted he was just being helpful. If he only smiles but doesn't speak, it was a compliment. He likes you. If he says, with a smile, he's just being helpful or trying to help, he likes you more than likely.

Make sure these are done in order.
