Altitude affects the climate because wind blows moisture from the ocean up the side of the mountain, the air gets cold and can't hold the moisture anymore so it rains/snows then the now dried air goes down the other side of the mountain and it normally creates a desert or something dry on the other side.
There are so many factors that affect our climate. Those factors are the following:
1. The El Nino Phenomenon
2. The Proximity to the Equator
3. Some scientist claimed that human activity has a contribution to it.
So I think altitude on some point affect the climate because altitudeincreases, and air becomes thinner and is less able to absorb and retain heat.
Altitude, as well as latitude, affect the types of plants and animals that can survive. For example, in the mountains, there is a gradient between grasslands at low altitudes, forests a little higher up, subalpine forests above that, and then finally alpine zones at the highest zones. The same gradient occurs traveling north as you pass from grasslands to boreal forests to arctic tundra.
Certain habitat types are borne out of plants' nutrient, sunlight, and soil needs. More energy-intensive plants can grow at lower altitudes, but only those able to scrape by on the bare minimum of growing season length and soil can survive in the alpine. Plant availability and diversity affects the animals that can feed on the plants, and consequently the predators that feed on those animals.
For example, deer and elk may graze at the bottom of the mountain, but bighorn sheep and mountain goats will dominate the higher places. Mountain goats' closest relative is the pronghorn, which lives out on the plains and avoids sloping terrain. Rabbits and hares feed lower down, and pikas live only on rocky alpine slopes.
altitude refers to elevation above mean sea level. This measurement is determined most accurately by triangulation with optical instruments. The altitude of an airplane, however, is measured most accurately by means of a radio altimeter.
Light reflect regularly in low altitude but light reflect irregular in high Altitude.
The more altitude the less temperature and the less altitude the more temperature.
At per 160-165m the altitude the temperature differs by 1 degree centigrate.

It affects Biomes by the temperature. The higher you go the colder it gets!
There was man namedHenry and he wanted that
cuz it duz
The altitudde of a place affect the country's climate because wind blows moisture from the ocean up the side of the mountain.
Latitude and altitude can dramatically affect climate and vegetation. Climate and altitude both have an effect on temperature. This temperature is a big factor in what will grow and what will not.
Altitude makes your climate colder.Distance from the sea makes your climate warmer at the start of summer and cooler at the end (water warms more slowly than land, but also retains the heat longer).
Not all deserts are hot. Compare the Sahara with the Gobi. The Sahara is hot and dry and also is located near the equator, with an altitude of about 600m. The Gobi is much further north, with an altitude of about 1520 m. The Gobi is COLD and dry.
yes
cuz it duz
ask your mommy
Altitude and distance from bodies of water.
What climate? -_-

The higher the altitude the colder the climate, the warmer the climate the lower the altitude.

Some factors that affect the rate of weathering are the type of rock, the altitude and the climate.
The Mojave desert does not have much altitude, but if where ever is closest to the sun and out in the open is the hottest.
