Asthma can affect your lifestyle if it is not controlled properly. The intermittent wheeze that is produced by asthma causes some duress to the patient. On the other hand, since asthma attacks are more common during nights, the patient has disturbed sleep, leading to a reduction in his or her work output the following day. Thus untreated asthma can impair your lifestyle. But the good news for asthmatics is that modern medicine has several reliable drugs to treat the disorder and ensure that the patient has a normal lifestyle.

I know i shouldn't say this but i am a 14 year old girl who has had asthma since birth. I have had 12 asthma attacks and 2 have put me in hospital. I feel like i am limited to what i can do, but that hasn't stopped me. I plan to be a dancer when i am older. I have been dancing since i was 3 and dancing on the stage since i was 4. I have meet many famous people on the way such as Bonnie Langford, Bobby Davro and the Fat man and the Tenor. I have danced on the west end, Disneyland's main stage and nearly all over Hampshire. But asthma has affected me and some of my friends who also have asthma when it comes to other things such as riding bikes round the park, laughing so hard that you cry, walking the dogs could lead to an asthma attack. I could go to hospital for lack of air any minute. Asthma has to be taken seriously. I am also affected by hayfever like most people, but i get it all year round. I have contatly got a cold, and i wake up from not breathing. It can also be painful if you dont use your medican properly or dont use it at all! People find astma a joke but i know someone who has died from an astma attack. Although if you used your medication properly and eat healthily you can overcome astma altogther... i am hoping to get to that stage soon! To some people, asthma wont affect you. It depends on the person and the age. I hope i have answered your question and i hope you see me dancing on the west end in a few years time
