In and of itself, it doesn't. You can support your own people without bashing other people or working to reduce their rights. However, many pro-White organizations and groups become extremists. Once you start promoting segregation, that is where it becomes a slippery slope to racist beliefs.
Some pro-White groups start with the best of intentions. But for some people, it is not acceptable that they remain moderate with their beliefs. Some may find someone saying they are proud of their own race to be offensive. Then those opposed to White pride may find ways to turn the group into a racist group so it will be disbanded.
In 2014, there were pro-White events, and most didn't even make the news. One man had his own demonstration, where he held up a sign, wore a kilt, and played the Bagpipes. So it is possible to celebrate your race without doing it in a racist manner.
