∙ 13y agoDepends on what kind of plant. Plants with red and yellow leaves, such as maple, absorb more blue light. I use a blue LED light for my herbs growing. And my herbs are growing well.

∙ 15y agoFluorescent lighting is a good source of lighting, use on warm and one cool. Blue light are the plant and aquarium lights. I have used both and always go back to the warm and cool fluorescent lights.

∙ 15y agoblue ligth in fact does inprove the growth of plants, it affects the growth of a plant because blue light is only giving off one source of light unlike the sun which gives off many.
