What is the difference between bullying and child abuse?

I believe child abuse and neglection would almost be the same. But I think abuse is more of a physical thing of harming the child. And neglecting is just leaving the child behind. But both meanings deal with leaving the child hurt and feel unloved.

Abuse is active abusive conduct- I needn"t go into the sordid and tragic details. Neglect is a passive lack- but can be just as serious- such as inadequate food, house keeping conditions, and neglecting health problems. one is passive, the other active, both can be dangerious. The related charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor involves adults using kids in crimes ( including child pornography or dirty cartoon sessions) - for example a record producer ( this actually happened) once posed his three-Lady troupe in an oversized Bathtub in the Neptune Motor Lodge. trouble was, one of the girls, Nedra , was l6 Nedra called her mother ( Aunt Suzu to Ronnie)- and Aunt Suzu called the police. Smart note sounded ( Aunt Suzu was a music teacher). a discordant twang, nyet! Needless to say the album cover- here, in Neptune"s tub to dwell, Ronnie, Nedra, and Estelle! was never released.

They are both abusive but it is like the difference between fire- or explosions ( violent action) and rust- sustained but inactive oxidation, both are harmful- in fact they are very similar chemically Metal parts such as auto bodies sometimes exhibit Burn scars from accidents involving fires- sometimes in very odd places. long after extinguishment, these leave scars- of Rust. Child abuse is violent, beating, torture, sexual assault, kiddy porn, etc. Neglect is more related to undernourishment, poor sanitation, ignorance or neglect ot basis needs such as maintenance of clothing and so on. It can be a by-product of financial slump- Poverty. The child in the song (the Christmas Shoes) shows signs of neglect. ( he was dirty, meaning physically, clothes, body odor, etc) The two crimes are related , Neglect of basic needs is certainly a form of abuse- can cause skin diseases. there was a guy I knew called Henry and it was said you could smell Henry over the Horizon, like s dead whale! The guy was retarded, maybe his family didn"t want him. His two sisters were normal and fared much better- as far as basic needs were.

Bullying is not limited to just hitting another member of your family. Bullying is a learned behavior. Normally the bully has seen another member of their family use bullying to enforce their will over another person. It is an imbalance of power between two people. Technically, it could happen between members of the same family. But it is most often between two unrelated people when one feels the need to enforce their will over a weaker person.
