Light colors are light because they reflect more light energy back to your eye. Dark colors are dark because they absorb more light energy. The extreme examples of this are white, which reflects all bands of light, and black that absorbs all light. When an object absorbs light energy it will dissipate this energy as heat, as a result darker colors, that absorbed more light, will dissipate more heat, making them feel hotter. An example of this is sitting in a car with leather seats in the summertime. Cars with black leather feel much hotter than those with brown leather.
Though color directly affects light absorption, it doesn't really effect heat absorption. The different colors don't change the amount of heat they absorb, but does affect the amount of heat they dissipate (give off).
I hope this answered your question, if not just let me know and I will try to expand my answer or explain it better.
black objects are black because they absorb all the visible radiation that falls on it. that light is then converted into frared radiation which is essentially heat.
Darker soils (colors) absorb more light which gets converted to heat. Lighter soils (colors) reflect more light and which doesn't get converted to heat so they remain cooler.
Radiation absorption.
It is called an absorption spectrum.
Dark clouds. This is because dark colors take in/absorb more heat and sunlight than lighter colors.
Air currents affect heat by absorbing the particles which causes the particles to expand to make it even hotter.
The sun is attracted to dark colors
The sun is attracted to dark colors
Absorption of water or hydrolysis
Yes . Its because light gives off heat .
light colors are lightss becos the reflect more profdoff PHD scientist
yes color affects the absorption of heat and how it does that is the darker the liquid the more energy it absorbs and the less energy it reflects This is not just specific to liquids. Any matter that is darker than pure white absorbs heat.
plesse for the 5 hellen time can some one help mee
Yes they do affect the absorption of light in plants.
i have no clue that's why im asking people im doing a science fair and i need an answer fast plz! Darker colors absorb heat and heat reflects off lighter colors.
Yes the colour does affect how fast it burns! The color of the candle does affect how long it burns because the heat is produced to darker colors then lighterbut it does not if its a all different colors
Because that is the effect of black body radiation . According to that more darker the colour , more would be absorption and emission of light.
No real effect, except that darker colors may absorb more heat from the sun than light colors.
