  • The Himalayan glaciers will melt
  • The sea level will rise
  • Villages near the sea will be under water
  • If no rain, then no food, no life.
  • Heat the world so much it would be too hot to live.
  • Melt the ice caps and
  • flood the world
  • As the temperatures rises there will be more evaporation in the oceans which causes rainfall thus killing aquatic mammals
  • It can also cause hurricanes, loss of habitats and extinction.
  • Heating up the earth.
  • Humans, plants and animals may be wiped out in hundreds of years due to global warming.
  • Apparently it will make temperatures rise 3 Celsius every 100 years (average).
  • More heat in the air and oceans is energy! This energy adds power to storms, sucks more rain out of the oceans and changes the wind currents from the Arctic.
  • This will be worse for hot countries and will kill people and food. (crops etc).

Why Global warming is a serious issue to antarctica?

By definition, GLOBAL warming happens over the entire planet, so no, there cannot be global warming in any one location or region. However, LOCAL warming is not occurring in Antarctica. Temperatures there are colder than have ever been recorded, and they are STILL going down.

What evidence do global warming deniers give that global warming is a hoax?

1) if the ice melts in the northern/ southern region of the world, the water level wont rise. BECAUSE that water is froze, it is expanded.

Why is global warming a global warning?

Global warming is referred to as a global warning because it affects the entire planet. It is caused primarily by human activities, such as burning fossil fuels, which release greenhouse gases into the atmosphere and trap heat, leading to a rise in temperatures. This warming has far-reaching consequences including melting ice caps, rising sea levels, extreme weather events, and disruptions to ecosystems and biodiversity. These impacts are not confined to one region or country but have widespread and interconnected effects across the globe.

How does specialization affect employment patterns?

changes the availability of jobs in the country or region

How is global warming likely to affect an animal species that has narrow temperature requirements?

When climate changes, animals that have narrow temperature requirements will migrate to a different region, where they can find the temperature that they need, if they can. In the case of the polar bear, which requires a cold temperature in order to hunt seals from floating ice sheets, there isn't any colder region to which they can migrate, so they are out of luck.
