If used to often hair spray and gel can damage your hair, with the chemicals in it, having a reaction with your hair, and that's what causes it to stay down. However, too much of it can cause in damaging hair, in which:
- it can be greasy all the time
- it can give you split ends easier
- it can also pull out your hair
