Everyone is different. I felt scared, excited, nervous, and anxious and a little bit loathsome of the labor and delivery and baby that was to come. I love my son to bit now. Others feel nothing but excitement and joy. If you've been trying for years and years to conceive you may feel differently than someone who is a single Mom who wasn't planning a child. Physically, I felt stretched to capacity, had a lack of appetite and was peeing every 10 minutes. :)

Well it really all depends, some say around 6-12 weeks. During the first 6 weeks women say they feel sore and "leaky."
It hurts for some women. It hurt for me. When my Son was out I just forgot about it. Don't worry. Just clothes your eyes tightly.

You can't feel what giving birth is like without giving birth! :-) Read Ina May's Guide to Childbirth by Ina May Gaskin-the midwife of all midwives in the US. This book will give you some idea what it's like. Anyone pregnant or even thinking about having a baby should read this. It's a masterpiece.
