The fledglings will start learning to fly between 10 and 12 weeks of age. This is when they are first leaving the nest, and exploring the immediate area, and trees near by. acutly it teaches them how to fly by: the chicks either copies the mother flying so when the chicks fly they know the right way how to flap their wings so they fly. Or they learn it themselves by: just flaping their wings and when they fly they flap their wings the same way when they first started to fly so they can go to other places.
