Answer: Paul (1 Thessalonians 5:17) tells us to "pray without ceasing". How can one pray without ceasing unless in we have a prayer continuously upon our lips at each moment of our day. Wherever we go or whatever we do, we are to be in communion with God. James (James 2:26, et al) teaches us that faith without works is dead (meaning useless). As the Lord leads us and we journey through our day to day activities, whatever situation that we come upon deserves a prayerful thought. If the situation that we come upon needs action, our faith calls us to action. Thus, our prayer life as a result of our faith also calls us to action!
