How does walking to school help the environment?

Because your car produces C02, (Carbon Dioxide) And that C02 is destroying the layer of ozone protecting our planet from UltraViolet rays (That's the bit in the sun that causes skin cancer, it's so hot) Therefore, more of these rays are breaking through, and heating up the atmosphere. Also, the C02 reflects the rays back down to earth, so none of this heat can escape.
