What happened to Shadow at the end of SA2B while falling?
Shadow was rescued by one of Dr. Robotnik's robots and put in a statis pod to recover while the Doctor made androids of him. The fall, or the machine (?), caused Shadow to lose his memory upon reawakening.

there isn't a sa2b for PC unless u download a gamecube emulator and the ROM
Is sonic adventure 2 battle different from sonic adventure 2?
SA2 is for the Dreamcast, while SA2B is for the GameCube. SA2 has Big cameos in the level, SA2B does not.(SA2B only has cut scene cameos but so does SA2.) SA2B has more 2 player stages than SA2. SA2 allows you to put your chao in the VMU, SA2B allows you to put your chao in the Tiny Chao Garden. SA2B has Chao Karate. some chao world structure is different.(dark garden is TOTALLY different.) There are more.
Does shadow ever care for Amy?
Yes, he does care and he loves her Shadow and amy's relationship is pretty much neutral... They hardly ever interact and Amy's only love interest is Sonic. Actually, in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle he kept his promise to Maria AND Amy Rose. Since that it has been called "The Miracle of Love" So personally I do think Shadow has an affection on Amy... not sure. Some say that in SA2B Amy cried for Shadow after saving the world with Sonic he disappeared.. so they thought he died... (HE DIDN'T DIE! They THOUGHT HE DID.)
