Look at the people in hospital wards: health is certainly a social issue.
Poorer people are less healthy.
Health is connected to social class because how much you make, or where you are in the social class ladder, influences how much yo can afford. Like if you were lower class and you got sick you might not be able to afford to go to the doctors. Which is why we have the health reform.
one cannot know how alcohol affects your social health

Health is a social and a biological issue. It is biological in the way that it describes the wellness of the human body. However, it is also social in the way that the health of one person can affect an entire community.
the consequence of social class are family life partner, and friendship choices, level of education, religion, political views, physical and mental health.
No there is not really any such thing as social health. Social factors impact on a person's physical and mental/emotional health and wellbeing. Socialization opportunities and characteristics affect physiological and mental/brain states. Social determinants of health play a key role in societal and economic settings on one's health status in present and future. Social health is really about communities and the extent to which human communities and their physical attributes affect behaviours, norms, values and health at the individual, family and population levels. There is no such thing as social health as a dimension of one's health status, only whether social factors inhibit/deter or promote physical and mental health, and their continuity into the future.
Richer People are of a higher social class so they can afford private health care etc, so they are more likely to be healthy, upper class people also generally have better diets because they can afford better quality food.
It depends what your specifically focusing on, but I'm studying Applied Sociological Perspectives at college in my 2nd year and we've looked at how the UK's Social Class table can actually affect the health and how job differences, income, and living standards, also it could be things such as socially healthy, if you are isolating yourself, its bad for your PIES (Physical, Intellectual, Emotional & Social). Language Barriers also affect health, because if a person who emigrates knows very little English and doesn't know about health care services, that will affect their health too.. the 2001 Census says that the majority of people who reported poor health were those from Ethnic Minority groups who have emigrated to England, this is normally because they are unaware that Health Care is free in most places of the UK... Sorry to ramble, but hope it helps :)
D. All of the above Apex :) hope this helped
internalising feelings lead to stress and depression which inturn affect our physical, social and mental wellbeing of individuals. Mental health is a state of physical, mental and social wellbeing not just the absence of disease.
