With high doses, it can kill almost anything. I have found that Borax kills them effectively and it keeps them from coming back. There are recipes on the internet that explains how. The main ingredients are sugar and borax. 3 lb bag of sugar...$2.5 @ Walmart. Box of Borax...$3.88 @ Walmart. Good luck.
