How does the Liver regenerate?

Well, would you want it NOT to repair itself? I mean, if your liver did not repair itself then it would eventually break down, like a car. If you asked why a liver DOES NOT repair itself, 1, you need to check what you wrote, and 2, I isn't built that way.

The liver is the only internal human organ capable of natural regeneration of lost tissue; as little as 25% of a liver can regenerate into a whole liver.

Saying it's an organ, and has cells... I'm guessing the cells divide, multiply and do whatever they do. Thus, they create a new liver after the many parts of it die. It's an on going cycle.
