the eagle has adapted to its habitat because of the claws and the coulor which says danger

They have talons that can hold prey, great eyesight for spotting prey, and they fly silently so that their prey won't hear them.

Bald Eagles mostly eat fish and waterfowl. They have amazingly strong talons, which can squeeze up to 1000 pounds per square inch. (Some adult male humans can squeeze about 180 to give you a comparison). This allows the bald eagles to lock their prey and hold onto it while they are flying. Bald Eagles can usually carry a fish that is half the eagle's body weight (the fish can be up to 9 lbs.). They also happen to be good swimmers. Female eagles are bigger than males, so that they can sit on their eggs to incubate them. Bald Eagles are at the top of their food chain, and don't have very many predators. They have amazing eyesight and could see the words "Quarter Dollar" on a quarter if it were a football field away from them. They have an amazing wingspan, about 6-8 feet in length.

I think they mature, and then they explore around to find food, and they learn the place they are at by heart. Possibly, they just go looking for food and as long as they have food, they're good.
