The passage of blood through the heart Step 1De-oxygenated blood (coloured purple in this diagram) returns to the heart through the large veins called the Venae Cavae. The blood enters the right auricle, and passes through the tricuspid valve into the right ventricle. It is then pumped through the semi-lunar valve into the pulmonary artery and into the lungs where it loses carbon dioxide and picks up fresh oxygen. Step 2 The oxygenated blood (coloured red in this diagram) returns to the heart from the lungs through the pulmonary vein into the left auricle. It passes through the bicuspid valve and into the left ventricle. It is pumped through the semi-lunar valve into the aorta, and out to the rest of the body through the arteries.
Systole-Atria contract, forcing blood into venticles. Deoxygenated blood from body enters right ventricle. Oxygenated blood from lungs enter the left ventricle. Then ventricles contract forcing blood through arteries to the lungs and out the aorta to the rest of the body.
Diastole-Cycle ends, and heart relaxes, blood fills the atria and begins to flow passively into the ventricles.
1. oxygen-depleted blood enters the right atrium
2. blood enters the right ventricle
3. blood is pumped to the lungs to receive oxygen
4. blood enters the left atrium
5. blood enters the left ventricles
6. blood is pumped to the entire body
go through nose, into blood vessles. vessels carry the oxygen to the heart, the heart turns the oxygen onto blood and delivers to lungs hope this helped.
Arteries, veins, heart, capillaries, and blood... at least that's what it says on my textbook
it starts with the heart
dont care
Circulatory system and Cardiovascular system
The cardiovascular system sends oxygen to the muscles.
The heart is a part of the cardiovascular system.
the muscular and cardiovascular system.
Cardiovascular System
The cardiovascular system (The Heart) pumps blood throughout the body. Without the Cardiovascular system, humans would be dead.
The muscles use oxygen transported by the cardiovascular system.
cardiovascular is not a illness it is a system it is the scientific name for the circulatory system.
The cardiovascular system what nurse do
the cardiovascular system works with the respitary system and... im not sure what else
cardiovascular system
