Lock on driver frot side is not working
2001 GMC Serria, power door locks.Driver side works perfect.Passager side does not.Pushing switch either side locks driver door but not passenger door. What is wrong
Because back then, all you did was parallel park so you would slide out of the passenger side and out the passenger side door since it was to the curb. Then you could lock your door and not be in traffic.
The coil of the door lock is open-shorted,etc. or the 12VDC to the coil is missing-could be a pinched wire or the switch not working.
Power window module (amplifier) is not working. It is located inside the door panel.
The Drivers Door Module or Passenger Door Module on a 2003 suburban is also known as the "window / door lock" switch. These modules are located on each respective door, i.e. driver side door or passenger side door. It is the module that has the door lock/unlock switch and window up/down switch. Hope this helps...
its in the driver side door in the actual power door panel
passenger side behind the carpet by your foot on the right side
It depends, some are in the door, some are in a fuse box.
Inside of car, passenger side on the side of the console trim casing. Pull panel off to access door lock fuse.
you have too lock the vehicle with the power lock switch, then unlock the passenger side door with the key, works on my 2000 durango
getting to the actuator is easy..... how to remove the rods attached to it is something else.....
