The amount of food will depend on the weight of the dog and the amount of calories available per cup of the food you are using as well as the age of the dog. Beyond that monitoring your dogs weight will tell you best. If the dog is loosing weight, increase the amount of food. If the dog is gaining too much weight cut back on the food.
