Wind, the movement of a gas, is widely used in modern life. The gases passing through an airplane engine are wind, and propel the craft. The natural wind is used in large windmills, commonly called wind turbines, to generate electrical power. In your domestic vacuum cleaner, the wind is used to pick up stray dust and dirt and carry it to a sealed bag.
The power cord is 12' long on most models, though some are 6' and 8'.
Walmart for the small vacuum cleaner. Any sandy desert in the world for the circular wind current.
Wind turbines (in a wind farm) convert kinetic energy of the wind into electrical energy. Not to be confused with wind mills - that turn the kinetic energy of the wind into mechanical energy.
NOPE!
Wind power. A wind farm. A wind turbine.
Nothing gets burned in the case of wind energy.
OxiClean, Owl Wallet Light, Touchless Trashcan and the Wind Storm Vacuum Cleaner are all products that have been tested by contributors on Real Simple and have been confirmed to work.
Assuming that you're talking about a wind-powered electrical generator (such as a "wind farm"), the energy conversion is from mechanical to electrical. When the wind blows on the blades of the mill it rotates them, creating mechanical energy. This mechanical energy is used to power the electrical generator inside the mill, creating electrical energy out of mechanical energy.
The wind turbine converts kinetic energy into wind, which then turns into wind and then mechanical energy. The energy is converted to an electrical generator through a shaft which turns it into electrical energy, or in other words, electricity.
A wind trolley is a length of cord that connects a hat to a button that fastens to a lapel, in case the hat blows off in the wind.
