The aircraft carriers cost billions of dollar now and they were millions of dollars during world war two. When you consider the price of metal and the cost to assemble that much metal it is mind bogling they don't cost a trillion dollars once they put in all the interior things and computers and other screens. They are as big as a city and house over 5000 people. They now have the comforts of home and base. They video conference their loved ones now too.
