I owned a 1979 z with a 4-speed. These cars were not speed demons. Rated at around 190 HP they only had a 0-60 time of around 8 sec. 1/4 mile time was around 16 sec. at 80 mph or so. I changed my car with a m-22 4-speed, 3.73 rear and a modified 350. This combination was good for 7.80s in the 1/8 on street tires. Had to baby it out of the hole because of tire spin.

060 as a whole number? .060? 0.60?
ive heard you can go 60 over (.060)
I've seen aftermarket pistons available in .060" oversize. Probably wouldn't want to try to go any bigger than that.
