faster than a human
Camels are slow moving animals, due to their long legs. But those who take part in races run fast.
They need to get away from predators.
faster than Matt Ridgway
they can run really fast across terrain and they have a very strong kick as well.
i'm not sure. But i am 90% sure that camels can run
run
its not how fast the rottweiler can run its how fast you can run !
the reason camels developed like today, is that it choose an environment where there are no or few predators; the desert. when threatened camels run away, they ill rarely fight. if they fight they (especially males) can become very agressive and dangerous, they are very powerfull animals; i have seen a camel break a horse's neck in an eye blink.
Protection from what? One thing includes sandstorm protection. Camels drop down onto their knees to make a smaller target. In caravans, the people can hide with a camel, which can be very helpful. After sandstorms, they usually become deeply buried in the sand. They also have long eyelashes for blocking out sand. Camels can also run pretty fast (for animals with knobbly knees).
there tallness keeps them away from predatorsCamels have long eyelashes that keep out dust and sand. They run fast due to their wide, flat hooves. They have a coat that protects them from extreme heat or cold.
How fast can a woodchuck run
