How find your lost hamster?

Answer:
if common sense (looking everywhere carefully) doesnt work - you could call in a security guard dog service - they have trained dogs that can sniff out where you hamster is and will not eat it when it finds it. If you ask a professional air conditioning or electrical company, they might come in you home and look for it with an infared (heat signature) camera and not charge you too much. PS - leave some little dishes of water and food all over, so when it comes out of hiding (probably at night while you sleep) it wont starve to death. hunting stores sell small animal traps that wont hurt it.

Look everywhere! Under sofas, chairs, tables, in chest of drawers, in cupboards, under the stairs, anywhere you can think of really. When you have done that, if you still haven't found it, put bowls of peanut butter, jam, syrup, hamster treats, custard, cheese, any foods that smell sweet to attract your hamster. Place these in every room. It is also a good idea to set up a couple of video chats in each room and watch them from in the room you are in. If they come out and go for the food, you will see it on the video and you can go and get the hamster. However, if this doesn't work you could get a plumber or electriction to scan the house, inside pipes and walls in case your hamster has got into any holes. Again, if they cannot trace anything then sit extremely quietly and listen for any scratching or pattering of feet. At night, put down lots of tinfoil and other rustly materials so f your hamster comes out of its hiding place, you will hear it's feet walking along it. Another idea is to leave trails of flour over the floor at night, then in the morning if your hamster has come out, its footprints will be marked out in the flour.

Hope you have found this advice useful and hope your hamster returns to you as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I have lost my hamster just yesterday and up to now it has not returned but I have gone through a lot of these tips and we expect him to be back by the morning because remember, hamsters are nockturnal creatures so most of the day they will be asleep so the main time that you wll be able to catch them is at night.

Thankyou! :)
