How good is the Baikal pistol with 13 shots?

[Edit]

Answer

Essentially, the Baikal is a MAKAROV..which is a Red headed step child of the GERMAN WALTHER PP/PPK/PPK-S.. the major difference is the caliber,Which is the RUSSIAN 9mm MAKAROV using a .364 diameter Bullet as opposed to the classic 9mm/9mm Kurz(.380 Browning) which uses a .355 and are NOT interchangeable.

now the pistol itself being russian,Ahhh it is very functional...pretty,NOPE!!! the caliber is availible with EXCEEDINGLY good bullets at this time(HORNADY For one) it does work, however being a blow back unlocked breech the recoil can be a little harsh,it isnt very heavy, and the cartridge is about 75-80% of a Parabellum. it is a decent weapon for the money,I'd own one..but,BIG but,get it in .380,the only difference is the barrel, which ANY gunsmith can switch out in about 10 minutes. all told, yeah it could be a ok weapon, but better and more available calibers are around, and I'd choose one of them first. so got a good line on a cheap one?..sure snap it up,enjoy.
