The Basic Training for the Air Force is eight and a half weeks. However, that doesn't include the in-processing period, which might be a couple days or a couple weeks in itself.
There is only one training place for enlisted members of the Air Force, and it's at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. Some Air Force officer candidates go through Basic Cadet Training at the US Air Force Academy outside Colorado Springs, Colorado before becoming cadets and ultimately receiving commissions as officers there (assuming they graduate from the Air Force Academy).

According to my dad's journal "The west coast is in the 4th Air Force and Muroc and March field trasin crews for the 7th Air Force in the South Pacific. .... Due to changes in the Training Command we are being shipped to March Field for our last two months training. Muroc has been designated a permanent base and B 29's are being flown in. Our shipping date is April 19, 1945."
