How hard would it be to put a 360 in to a stock 1992 Dodge Ram Charger?

[Edit]

Answer

The 318 and the 360 are the same block, almost everything interchanges between the two. If you have a 318 you can put a 360 in place of it. Having said this than.... Assumption on my part is that the original motor in the 1992 Ram Charger is a 318 ci. V-8. If this assumption is true than it is a fairly easy swap. However you will need to do the following: You will require a torque convertor for your transmission that fits the 360. This would be one that has balance weights on it since the 360 is an externally balanced motor. You will need the 360 vibration damper on the front of the 360, again this is an externally balance motor and the 318 is not. You will need the oil pan that goes to a V-8 in a Ram Charger, this could be as simple as swapping oil pans from the original motor to the new 360. You will need the 318 exhaust manifolds put on the 360 if not the same. The wiring harness is the same between the 318 and 360, so just hook it up to the new 360 changing the sender units as required. Fit the belts as original changing pulleys as required.

Contary to believe you can't do this as fast as the TV shows display but it is very "do-able" and without any "custom" work.

Enjoy the new power from under the hood.
