There aren't as many changes as people would think. However, the ratio of expats to local Chinese people has changed a lot. Many expats have left due to their job contracts etc. On top of this, buildings such as the 'IFC' and 'ICC' have been built, both of which are some of the biggest skycrapers in the world. China hasn't however completely taken over Hong Kong, and the two remain quite different.
