How has technology affected the world and in particular the workplace?

The impact of technology has spread to the workplace. First the technology has made the workplace more efficient and second, technology is making the workplace obsolete.

The computer has affected almost every business in the world. People can now, transfer money between accounts, withdraw money, pay with plastic, pay bills, and have up to date information on all of their debt and credit accounts.

With the rise of all the technology we have the workers don't need to be behind a desk in order to be a profitable employee or employer. However e-mails and other Internet or Intranet communications can be used as evidence against you in a legal matter. As such, law firms and other professional companies put disclaimers on the bottom of all of their e-mails to prevent such electronic communications from being used as evidence.
