Nobody really knows because of the intense heat inside a volcano.

Pressures continue to build inside of volcano's over many years until they erupt. One of the largest eruptions took place in Indonesia, Aug. 26-27, 1883. The volcano's name was 'Krakatoa'. It's eruption had the effect of 200 megatons of TNT or 13,000 times the nuclear yield of the atomic bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan. Volcanic ash spewed upward 50 miles. The explosion was heard 1,000's of miles away and weather patterns were interrupted for years.

nobody really knows because we cant create something that can test it because it tends to melt.

Where inside the earth does volcano occur?

A volcano is the visible effect of pressure building up in the semi-molten mantle below the surface. This pressure can cause lava and gases to erupt from the opening in the top or sides of the volcano. Therefore, a volcano occurs on the earth's crust (surface).

How high could a volcano spew ash?

It depends on the type and size of the volcano, the viscosity, and the amount of pressure built up over time within the volcano.

How does a volcano interrupt?
