Modern cabinets are all made 34.5, the good ones have adjustable legs that will go down a tad, and up about 1.25". Most of the North American made base kitchen cabinets come with preset height. Standard counter top height is about 36" high depending on thickness of your counter top material. European kitchen cabinets offer adjustable height because their cabinets sit on adjustable legs.
