How huddling help penguins to keep warm?

Answer:
when penguins huddle, it creates air pockets between them. air is a good insulator and so it will trap the body heat of the penguins. it also makes the whole group of penguins warmer and the product of their body heat is greater that that of a lone penguin. they will also rotate around with the penguins on the outside moving to the middle and vice versa.
