I would start by describing the Fourteen Points, as this is what Woodrow Wilson believed should be suitable as the peace treaty. Then look at the 'Big Three'; Woodrow Wilson (USA)'s beliefs, Clemenceau (France)'s beliefs and Lloyd George (Britain)'s beliefs on how to deal with Germany.

Then, COMPARE Wilson's Fourteen Points and the Treaty of Versailles (comparison is where you'll get the most marks) and throw in some points about whether Germany were justified to dislike the treaty.
