How is a haploid cell created?

Our body is made up of so many cells.Each cell divides and redivides by mitosis or meiosis!!we can't count them!! Haploid cells are those which contains only 1 set of chromosomes (haploid number= n)

Half of the amount of chromosomes as the cells in the body that are not gametes (called somatic cells) so 23 chromosomes (instead of 23 PAIRS of chromosomes).

Assuming that this is referring to gametes, so sperm and eggs, yes, reproductive cells are haploid.
