Mitosis is a form of cell division. Cancer is a mutation in cell division, generally in such a way that cell divide too often and are unregulated and end up developing a mass. Those cells also carry the mutation and those cells divide and create new mutated cells, on and on and on.
Cancer Cells are Somatic Cells that undergoes Mitosis. Somatic Cells are cells that can not generate on their own, and dies when they reach their life span. When Somatic Cells goes through Mitosis, they are known as infected or cancer cells.
The process of mitosis duplicates DNA at the loss of base pairs from telomeres. Telomeres are thought to be related to aging in that the shorter they get the more you age, so mitosis leads to aging.
The younger you are the faster you will heal
All steps of meiosis II are similar to the steps of Mitosis
When an organism reproduces they pass on their genetic information in the DNA to their offspring.
Mitosis is a noun:'The cell performed mitosis.'
The same as for any other type of mitosis. Mitosis is mitosis.... Mitosis is the duplication of a single cell without sexual recombination of DNA. In some species, mitosis can be a form of reproduction (asexual). In humans, mitosis is how you grow and repair wounds.
The chromosomes are aligned along the middle of the cell during metaphase of mitosis. For more information on mitosis, see the link, further down this page, listed under Related Links.
Interphase and mitosis are related because they are in the same process. Although, many think that interphase is the first step of mitosis, prophase actually is. Interphase is just the intermediary step to prepare cells for possible mitosis.
They get worse as they age
Gerontology is the study of the processes and effects of aging and of age-related diseases in humans.
All steps of meiosis II are similar to the steps of Mitosis
With elderly people, specializing in diseases and conditions related to aging.
When an organism reproduces they pass on their genetic information in the DNA to their offspring.
It's it second cousin once removed.
both methods of replication or growth
These problems can occur at birth, through injury, or as the result of aging. They may be acute, as in an accident or injury, or chronic, as in many problems related to aging.
Everywhere! skin, organs....everywhere but sex related cells.
They all rely on mitosis in order to occur.
