Layer flat sheets of cooked pasta, top with meat sauce (what you might call Bolognese sauce, but basically just mince - ground meat - and tomatoes and wine, with maybe a few herbs and spices), add grated cheese and beciamella (bechamel) sauce, a simple white sauce made from combining butter, milk and flour (rice flour is best),and keep layering these things until you fill your oven dish.

Top with bits of butter and more cheese. Cook at medium heat - on a tray so if it sizzles over your oven won't be hard to clean - and allow to cool a little before you serve it.

There is no need for an accompaniment; all you require is in the dish!

Buon appetito!

Oh, sorry, forgot to say, lots of onions and garlic fried with the meat.
