How is drug abuse related to other crimes?

Answer:
because people get high and do stupid things. Or addicts run out of money and do anything they must in order to get money to buy there drug, and its not cuz they like to live that way but like most ppl, they think they can control themselves then they get addicted and when you are addicted you need that drug to feel normal otherwise you go into withdrawl for weeks to a month and lemme say that its the most horrifying experience ever, I would not put it on my worst enemy, heres why from experience of 3 week opiate withdrawl. First day without opiate, I had constant anxiety, naseus throwing up, diarea, Restless legs, entire body feels drained in pain aching all over, headaches then when its time for bed My body could not get comfortable and I literally could not sleep and didnt for 5 days straight as well as previous symptoms also hot and cold sweats, stuffed nose, sore throat and sneezing alot are symtoms too. In the meantime, there is nothing a person could do that they would enjoy cuz your brain has chemical imbalance and not producing dopamine which your brain produces that makes a person feel good and happy, Like playing video games, ppl get a high from it cuz its entertaining and when you do something you like your brain produces dopamine. but when withdrawling your brain is reconfiguring itself back to before drugs messed with it, so for 3 weeks it took till all withdrawls were gone and I could do something and enjoy it. I never used to understand why a person would feel like committing suicide till I went through that, at least with a flu you have apetite can take stuff to feel better and you can sleep and relax and is gone in couple days
