It's a slightly flattened (at the poles) spheroid, the last time we checked. When astronomical bodies get large enough, they 'collapse', or shape themselves under the force of their own gravity....
it is not actually round, scientist's have discovered it is the shape of a heart and the moon is the shape of a flower it just looks round from Earth.
