How is inhaled air different from exhale air?

Answer:
Air in the atmosphere is a mix of about 78% nitrogen, 20.95% oxygen, 0.93% argon, and 0.038% carbon dioxide (CO2)

When air is breathed in (inhaled) oxygen is absorbed by the lungs, exchanging it for waste carbon dioxide, carrying the CO2 away from the body when exhaled.

Exhaled air has a CO2 content of about 5%, i.e. 125 times more CO2 than inhaled air.
