Awesome! I have been enlisted for 8 years and still love it. The quality of life we enjoy is unmatched by any other branch. Now for the last 8 years the wars have made me/us spend A LOT of time away from home, but at least we do it in 4-6 month spurts as opposed to the 13-16 month deployments braved by our sister services. Overall I have seen the world, served our country, and had a great time doing it.
Being an air cadet is beneficial for when you are older and would like to advance into the Air Force or become a pilot.
