any time objects resonate with a radio signal's frequency you have the makings of a crude radio. If those objects react in a way that allow the changes of the radio signal to make noise, you'll hear the audio. This happens when pipes, tape measures, air ducts, electrical and phone wires, are near the same length as a broadcast radio wave. The changes in the radio signal, or modulation, can get passed into other objects through corrosion between pipes, phone wiring, light fixtures and blubs, rain gutters and roofs, exhaust pipes and water heaters, furniture and floors, and so on. Generally, it only happens within a mile or so of a high power AM tower.

We cannot hear Radio Waves inasmuch as radio wave has higher frequency in the range of GHz; on the other hand, we only can hear sounds in the range of KHz; therefore, we cannot hear Radio Wave which is in the range of GHz.
