Plastic is very harmful to the environment. About 400 cows die yearly as they eat plastic that is littered around. Plastic does not decay into the ground by the action of microorganisms but it stays in the environment, this is the main reason plastic is harmful. DON'T LITTER.

Plastic destroys nature by having hazardous chemicals in the plastic. And if an animal eats the plastic, it could die. Also, if there is an plastic can holder, fish and ducks, and anything else that can fit their head through the hole, it could either choke, or suffacate themselves.

Plastics aren't biodegradable, which means the don't dissolve when it gets dumped into a landfill. So the plastic sits there for millions of years and nothing happens to it, unless someone decides to keep the plastic product and use it for a project of some sort.

The real impact of plastic bag litter is felt on wildlife both in the marine environment and in rural areas.

Tens of thousands of whales, birds, seals and turtles are killed every year from plastic bag litter in the marine environment as they often mistake plastic bags for food such as jellyfish.

Plastic bags, once ingested, cannot be digested or passed by an animal so it stays in the gut. Plastic in an animal's gut can prevent food digestion and can lead to a very slow and painful death.

Information on plastic which are not harm the environment that are biodegradable?

This question is not worth answering. The "enviorment" does not exist, "which are not harm" is incorrect grammar. If the question had read "which will not harm the environment" it could be worth answering.Wikipedia says:Biodegradable plastics are plastics that will decompose in the natural environment. Biodegradation of plastics can be achieved by enabling microorganisms in the environment to metabolize the molecular structure of plastic films to produce an inert humus-like material that is less harmful to the environment.
