Big debate on this one. If you have the luxury of home schooling do it. Public schools seemingly only benefit now seems to be for the benefit of the schools. Our children get substandard teachers, a body stuffed in a room, they get taught outdated cirricula, they are made to endure bullies and cliques and teachers that are indifferent because they feel they arent getting paid enough, then add that there are parents that just dont give a crap and we have angry disrespectful kids coming to school and reaking havoc that can be avoided, if only, like a village, we all do what is best for kids to gain an education and socialization skills that will help them excel in the world. Hate to be a damper but this is the public school system, now and the politics involved are ridiculous and the lack of sticking to their own policy outrageous.
