How is salvation found through Jesus?

Answer:

First, salvation means you are saved from something, in this case meaning hell and total separation from Christ in Heaven. So finding salvation through Jesus is explained in John 3:16:

*For God so loved the World that He gave His one and only son, that whoever believes in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life.

and Romans 10:9 says:

*That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

So many people get confused thinking they must do good works or be a good person to get to heaven but it clearly states in the Bible that is not the true answer.

Ephesians 2:8-9 says:

*v8 For it is by grace alone you are saved, through faith--and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God. v9 Not by works, so that no one can boast.

So if you believe in your heart that God sent his son, Jesus, to die on the cross for our sins and He rose again--you will be saved. Just as it said in Romans 10:9--above.

Salvation is found through Christ because He was the fullfillment of the Levitical laws of blood sacrifice.
