How is the Nikon CoolPix S80 camera?
Answer . One suggestion: Have you tried removing the batteries for a minute or two and putting them back in? Sometimes turning off and on will not clear a problem. If you remove the batteries altogether, it may. But if you replace them too fast , the circuits don't get erased. The same applie…s to many AC powered appliances (VCRs, DVDs, cable boxes and etc). Unplugging them from the wall will clear up things that the on/off switch does not. Not trying to talk down here. I just don't know what has been tried. That would be the first step. Otherwise, the troubleshooting section of the operators manual should say what can cause a system error. That might lead you to try something else. ( Full Answer )

The Grainy look of the picture is due to the setting called ISO (it's too high, just lower it and it should improve). If there is a lens error then I would have to say...don't jam or push the lens in. The lens turns like a screw so if you jam or push the lens you could ruin the threads within. … Most times you would have to take the camera apart and clean it or set it back on it's track. I once read, try banging it on your palm when powered off. ( Full Answer )

Press this button to adjust your exposure setting and make sure you press "ok" to confirm the new exposure setting. Putting it all the way towards the top at 2, is setting it at it…'s longest exposure time. Unfortunately i haven't found a way to make it expose any longer than 2 seconds, but this is how you set the camera up for a long exposure. ( Full Answer )

Yes, the Nikon Coolpix S220 is a good camera! Although, it does have it's ups and downs. The good part to the camera is that it can take very good pictures, can record videos with sound, is small and light, and it can take pics with different kinds of modes. However, it's VERY delicate. I have one, …and the first time I dropped it, it broke. I know you'd think most things would break if you drop it, but I was holding it about 2 inches from the CARPET, and it fell, and broke. Now it takes weird pictures. ( Full Answer )
